CareFlight Safety Services (CSS) has been delivering practical, industry specific courses throughout Australia and overseas for more than 20 years (since 1994). CSS instructors develop their expertise at the cutting edge of the industry, as the Safety division of Australia’s largest air-medical retrieval and rescue operation, the CareFlight Group. The Group provides 24/7 emergency air-medical rescue services in Australia, Asia and the Pacific Rim.
CSS is a quality assured, Registered Training Organisation under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF), offering nationally and internationally recognised accreditation for air safety courses including the reputed Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) course.
CSS understands and exceeds the strictest level of operational and training standards required for every course.
All CSS instructors are experienced aviators from civil EMS/SAR and military backgrounds, each with more than 15 years flying experience in rotary and/or fixed wing aircraft and more than 12,000 combined flying hours as pilots and crewmen.
